The Filmmaker
Patrick Sargent is twenty years old and from Salem, Massachusetts. He is an aspiring filmmaker and Entrepreneur, as well as a junior at Bryant University in Rhode Island. This year Patrick founded Work Your Way Up Productions, which is a film production company that he is using to produce his own films. Patrick shot his first narrative short film Swept Under, in the spring of 2008 with no budget on a Panasonic dvx100b. In the summer of 2008 Patrick began production on Work Your Way Up, which was also shot on a Panasonic dvx100b. Work Your Way Up is Patrick's first feature length documentary. Patrick created Work Your Way Up to provide aspiring entrepreneurs, business owners and anyone interested in entrepreneurship with a film they could use to educate and inspire them about the art of creating a successful business.
